Glitch Art
Album Art
About the Project: In this project I was tasked with finding a few JPEG images and altering them via Notepad+. I searched Pintrest for images that matched my theme "alone at the party". Three images were chosen then dissected on Notepad+ resulting in varied glitched images. After I chose my favorite of the three glitched images, and then edited it on Canva to create an album cover.
Vector Art
About the Project: This project was about creating an Adobe Illustrator vector artwork of your face or a man-made object. I personally chose a marble as my muse. It's such a simple item, but can be difficult due to its translucent properties. Once the artwork was completed, I placed it into Photoshop and incorporated it into a "real-life" image as a sticker.
Digital Animation/Video Game Project
About the Project: Using a combination of Clip Studio Paint and After Effects, I created this short 30 second self-playing Otome game "Monster Mash". The character, assets, and backgrounds were drawn on CSP. While the transitions and animations were done on After Effects. All sound effects and background music were sourced on FreeMusic.org and YouTube Creator Studio. Then, once completed, I uploaded it onto YouTube for everyone to view.
Creative Coding Project
Open sketch in p5.js Web Editor

About the Project: Using p5.js, I created a robot. Originally, I wanted to have the eyes look around as a loop, but kept encountering "loop errors". As an alternative, I did research and learned how to have the pupils follow the mouse as it moves around the screen. I finished the project off by including a background image of space that matched the sci-fi theme of the robot.
Basics of Editing Found Footage Montage
About the Project: The story now is a presentation of our planet. Imagine showing it to an alien who has no idea what Earth has to offer. It shows the good and bad sides through clips of footage. The song I chose is dramatic and grandiose, which I felt was a perfect embodiment of Earth.
I had to use a different software instead of Premiere Pro due to my PC being out of date. I was unable to use the more advanced filters and transitions that would be in PP because they are a paid feature in CC. Although there were some restraints, I feel that I was able to execute the video I had envisioned.
Audio/Visual Sync
About the Project: Created using After Effects: "Spooky Night" is a digital mashup using hand drawn animation and assets, backgrounds made in Sims 4, and sounds found on Free Sound. It's a silly take on when something goes bump in the night, and takes inspiration from early YouTube animated videos.
